Christmas Table Settings

Good morning and praise God it's Friday! Today is Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas at Christian Paper Crafts. Our focus today is on Christmas table settings. My setting was so easy and fun to make. I based my colors around the white with silver accents china that I have. I had picked up some jacquard table accessories earlier this week in a rich red and knew I had my colors.

I started my ribbon ring with a piece of Shimmery White card stock from Stampin' Up! and punched the edges with the eyelet border punch. I also punched a piece of Brushed Silver using the dotted scallop ribbon border and lightly adhered that strip down the middle of the shimmery white card stock as I knew I was going to sew the strip down the middle with dark thread using my sewing machine. The ring is about 2 inches across. I stamped my ornaments onto shimmery white paper with Versamark using the Gina K. Designs Heirloom Ornaments stamp set. I heat embossed the ornaments using Stampin' Up! silver embossing powder and then die-cut them with Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments Nestabilities. I wrapped my ring around my napkin and adhered the ends to each other using sticky tape. I angled the ornaments onto the ring and adhered them. I then used a Cherry Cobbler Deck the Halls Big Designer Button and threaded Silver Tinsel Trim from Stampin' Up! through the button. I wrapped the ends of the tinsel trim around a quilling stick so that they would curl and adhered the button to the cover where the ornaments met. Lastly, I placed red rhinestones by My Mind's Eye directly onto the ornaments.

For my place card, I used Papertrey Ink's Placecard Die-cut on Stampin' Up! Shimmery White card stock and then stamped the border using Stampin' Up! Cherry Cobbler ink with the coordinating stamp from Papertrey Ink Places Place stamp set to match their die-cut. I also stamped a very small holly image with Stampin' Up! Old Olive ink and placed a rhinestone at the bottom of the holly in the place card circle. I then matted the die-cut onto Stampin' Up! textured Cherry Cobbler die-cut and attached the place card to my Christmas tree.

You can make your table look just as lovely with minimal materials and time. I hope that you've enjoyed this short tutorial and the results from it. Thank you so much for stopping by and God bless. Today's Treasure: Song of Songs 2:4.
