Warm Winter Wishes

I'm doing my Friday post a little early this week as I have so much to do to my house tomorrow that I've been blowing off forever; like getting my attic organized, I'd like to organize my dining room better since I got 2 new chairs for it last weekend, the back splash in my kitchen should be finished tomorrow. It looks so good! It's exactly what the kitchen needed to bring it all together. I'd also like to have a day off too.

The new Taylored Expressions release was today and it's awesome, especially with the What's Cookin'? stamp set, Apron & Pocket die-cuts and Kitchen Accessories die-cuts. I can't wait to get them! For this very clean and simple card that I made with their release last month, I used the Winter Wonderland stamp set and Winter Wonderland Snowflakes die-cuts. I used the Fall-to-Layout 115 for my sketch. I debated on whether to add a button to my large snowflake on the right with some twine, but this time around decided that less is more. I hope that you like this and that it provides you with some clean and simple, yet elegant inspiration for some of your Christmas cards that can be easily mass produced.

I first cut an A2 size card of Stampin' Up! Pacific Point card stock and layered on a piece of Whisper White card stock cut 3/16" less than A2 size. I stamped my largest snowflake with Marina Mist ink and then used the large snowflake die-cut. I added foam dots to the back of the image and adhered it to my card towards the far right. I then lined up two smaller snowflake stamps on a long acrylic block. I used Classic Stampin' Spots in Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze to ink up the images. I then stamped them next to the large snowflake. It turned out perfectly! I used a smaller sentiment stamped with Pacific Point and added that to the middle of the card. I stamped my envelope with a large snowflake using Pacific Point ink and the inside of my card uses the same colors as above. This is a super versatile stamp set and I was able to use many of the images on my card. I'm sure that I'll find myself reaching for this all during the winter.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at this card and may the Lord richly bless your day today and weekend!
