FTL176 You & Me

Here's a card that I made for my design team work at the Clean and Simple Stamping Blog, Fall to Layout 176 (FTL176). Natasha comes up with the most awesome sketches every single week and even before I joined the design team, I participated in the challenge every week because it is my go-to place for sketches. I have several others as well, but for a great clean and simple card, or even a jump start to a more busy card, the blog is perfect.

As usual, we have a great sketch to inspire you with this week going outside of the standard A2 card size. There's a lot of die-cutting and ink distressing on this card and I pushed the limits of clean and simple. I had just re-inked my Versamark where I stamped the hearts on the Kraft card stock and I wish I didn't re-ink first because it really would have softened it up a bit as it's a bit too harsh for a straight Versamark ink on this type of card.

I hope that this provides you with some inspiration. It's a great masculine Valentine's Day card. Thank you for stopping by to visit me today and God bless you. Today's Treasure: Job 8:20-21. Also, once things settle down here a bit as I'm out of town a lot right now, I will start the video series I had planned last year for this year. I've made strides with Windows Movie Maker and think that you will enjoy the videos much more and learn more.
