Beau Rosettes

Good morning! I'm being a bit of a challenge cheater again. Today's card is for my design team work at Stampin' Up! Only Challenges 36 (SUO36). Our challenge today is to try a new technique of your choice and I did several on this card, as well as using  embellishments that I normally wouldn't use. I had cut my rosettes and doubled them up. I used fabric for my bow pulling the ends of it up through the large rosette and tying a knot. I also used pinking shears on my fabric. I colored in a die-cut and used a half scallop. I also colored in my faux pearls too. I finished off the card with some glimmer mist. Of course, I did my usual ink distressing.

Over at Moxie Fab World, Cath is having a Cutting and Trimming Challenge, and this card more than meets the challenge. I cut the large rosette and left the edge straight, the smaller rosette has a scalloped edge, and I used pinking shears on the edges of my ribbon, and snipped a "V" shape at the ends of the ribbon that I threaded up through the first rosette.

I'm also using this for Create With Connie and Mary Challenge 183 (CCMC183), which is a color challenge of Blushing Bride, Pool Party, and Soft Suede and that's where I cheated substituting in Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette. All product used is Stampin' Up!

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and I hope this card inspires you! God bless.
