Dripping Paint

Good morning. It's been a long week at the Coutts household and I'm glad it's coming to an end.

Today I made a card just to make it. It's actually inspired by two pictures of Bonnie Rose's Heart Sounds, which is a wonderful newsletter subscription that is sent out every Wednesday. Every week as part of the newsletter, she gives us a Photo Inspiration and an Art Inspiration. This card combines both of them. I love Bonnie's newsletter!

This card also covers two other challenges of Make It Monday 47 A La Carte featuring MIM 29 as my choice of freestyle coloring and WT265 at Splitcoast Stampers using ink distressing and pearlized mist.

As I was about to take a picture, it was just missing something so I thought that a splatter of Clay Mist might do the job to complete the card and it did, perfectly. I did get out of the box a little bit for me in "freestyle drawing" the dripping paint from the brushes, as it was just too plain. Not clean and simple, but plain, before the hand drawing and the mist. I carried the theme of colors to the inside of my card and envelope.

I hope that you enjoy today's card and I also hope that it inspires you in some way. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless you. Today's Treasure: 1 Corinthians 14:33.
