PDCC111, A Christmas Tag & The 12 Days of Christmas 2011, Day 12

Good morning and a very happy Friday to you. Today I'm sponsoring The Play Date Cafe Challenge (PDCC111) where it's a color challenge of black and white with a splash of teal. The fabulous inspiration is below.

Here is the prize that I'm offering if you play along with today's challenge.

Spellbinders Labels 18

{retail value $24.99}

I love the elegant and classy look and wanted to emulate that with the Christmas tag that I made for you. I will have a video up shortly on this too to finally close out my 12 Days of Christmas 2011, that's gone on for about a month now. I used a new black ink for me of the Hero Arts Hero Hues Black Dye and I must say that I'm very impressed by the coverage that detail that it provided on the large ornament. I'm starting to gravitate towards ink pads that you can take the top off of rather than flip. I love how solid the black turned out with very little effort and it is perfect coverage without a single spot that wasn't fully covered.

Here is the prize that I'm offering for my final 12th Day of Christmas.

THE RULES

1.  You must become a follower of my blog.

2.  You must leave a comment daily.

3.  You must put my 12 Days of Christmas Blog Badge on your blog. You can pick this up on the right sidebar with the code on my blog. If you can't get the code to work, simply save the blog badge to your computer and then insert it into your blog linking back to my blog.

4.  Subscribe to Cindy TV.

5.  Please don't just follow me and leave comments to win prizes. That is in extremely poor taste and very rude. How would you feel if somebody did that to you? It makes you feel used and very hurt, so let's keep it fair and fun.

Thank you so much for your patience and participation. I really appreciate it. It's been beyond chaos here and crazy busy, not to mention an extremely tough year for all of us. I'm hoping that January 1 will be a magical date of sorts. Please keep my mom and dad in your prayers too. God bless you and have a wonderful day!

  3. Absolutely beautiful tag Cindy!  I love this color combination – will try to get a minute to participate in the challenge.  I am so swamped with making Christmas gifts, but maybe I will make something with this color combo 🙂  I have never tried the Hero Arts ink, but thanks for the recommendation – will try it!  I have totally been slacking on my blog following lately so don't think I have commented on any of your 12 Days.  Will go backwards now and check everything out 🙂
