The 12 Days of Christmas, Days 9 & 10, A Few More CAS Cards

Good morning and I'm back on track with my 12 Days of Christmas 2011 Series! Today I'm doing Days 9 and 10 for some additional  clean and simple cards. For Days 11 and 12, I will be doing some Cricut projects and a Gratitude Journal that I hope you're looking forward to as I'm looking forward to sharing with you. I did give you a sneak peak of the Gratitude Journal that I'm making for my mom. It's never too late to join in the fun and make comments to win the daily prizes. I won't be doing that until the series is over with. Since I'm combining 2 days, I have only 1 prize for you but it's a good one, like all of them are, and you'll definitely love it! Today's prize is from Unity Stamp Company of the Best Day Ever stamp set! It coordinates with Simple Stories and has 9 very large stamps. It's so popular that it's out of stock and you can get it with me for free! There's also coordinating designer paper with this stamp set too, not included with this prize.

THE RULES

1.  You must become a follower of my blog.

2.  You must leave a comment daily.

3.  You must put my 12 Days of Christmas Blog Badge on your blog. You can pick this up on the right sidebar with the code on my blog. If you can't get the code to work, simply save the blog badge to your computer and then insert it into your blog linking back to my blog.

4.  Subscribe to Cindy TV.

5.  Please don't just follow me and leave comments to win prizes. That is in extremely poor taste and very rude. How would you feel if somebody did that to you? It makes you feel used and very hurt, so let's keep it fair and fun.

Now for the projects that I have to share with you today. The first one is a inspiration card that I picked up from Ashley Cannon Newell, whose work that I love. You can find her original post about her card Christmas Lights and see how I changed it up a bit, which is also described in the video. My second card come from an inspiration by Peggy McCurry using her Color Challenge 351 card. The video and still pictures are below.

The the end of our series, we're going to get into baking, using the Cricut, and some other fun stuff, so don't forget to tell our friends. The more you participate, the more fun you have and a changes to win some fabulous prizes!

As always, Jesus loves you and so do I. Thank you for stopping by to visit me today and I hope that you walk away from some fabulous inspiration! Remember that my samples are just ways to jump that that mojo and I'd love to see what you've created! You can leave a link here using Inlinkz, which I will keep open until December 6, or upload to another online gallery using CCDChristmas2011Dayxxx, so that I can find you in the gallery and leave you some love.

I hope that you enjoy my video and God bless you!

  1. LOVED THE VIDEO, great job Cindy! The cards are adorable and I'm LOVING the Holiday Lights!  The ornament dies is so cool, I've been eyeing that for a while, too!
Looking forward to your next project.  {hugs} You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Love these! The orange is such a WOW! and a surprise for a Christmas card. . .the string of lights is just darling and I love the ornament against the subtle watermarked background! What fun. . .you make CAS look so elegant!! Blessings

  3. This video was really great Cindy! I don't have any of products you used for the second card but I do have things that I may be able to adapt to get the same effect! I know that I will definitely have lots of fun trying! lol Thanks very much for the inspiration!
I'm looking forward to seeing more of the journal you shared. I really appreciated what you were saying in the video and I truly understood it. We went on the same journey with my FIL. In our case it was an open time (with just the three of us) of saying all the words that we ever needed or wanted to say. It is now a very precious memory. My prayers will continue!

  5. Oh! I just noticed the "inlinkz" now it's too late to play along 🙁   I only have an hour! Ha! I'm not that quick and I've had my fingers covered in Mod Podge tonight with another project for our Ladies Ministry Christmas Luncheon on Saturday.  Have a great week.  Thoughts and prayers your way!
