PDCC104 ~ Play Date Fun Flower

Good evening friends. First, I have a prayer request, and that is the smooth transition of Christian Paper Crafts to Our Daily Bread Designs. There's just some stuff that I can't do and it's the critical stuff so it's all matchy-matchy. I don't like playing around inside the root because one wrong keystroke could and will take the entire place down and lose about 24 hours of work, and I'm speaking from experience from the very beginning when we lost 5 days. Eek!. As stated earlier at top of my blog, the transition period is going to be quite the job with changing over the name, ownership, software licenses and I have about 7 of them integrated. It is not a small undertaking and then there's the graphics. God really needs to intervene here in a big way, the moving mountains kind of way. We need your prayers and thank you. It's critical that all of this be completed on Friday, October 28, because my son is coming home on Saturday, October 29 after being away from home for 2 months and this is not how I'm going to spend my time and that's it. My family is first. It's very frustrating because myself and Kelley have told everybody involved that his needs to be done and it's like pulling teeth to get a firm date and time, which we must have right now. I've done as much as I can and am comfortable to do. Now onto the fun stuff and thank you for taking my prayer request before the throne.

For my card today, I played in a challenge that I've never played in before called the Play Date Cafe Challenge. it's been around for a long time and it seems like a lot of fun to play in. I believe it's an inspiration/color challenge. Under this paragraph is their blog badge and our inspiration colors with a beautiful picture. My card is under it all and I really wish that I had taken a closeup of the image but I think it turned out okay as my card stock is white. Since they're celebrating their 2nd year, this is a great challenge with a lot of fun prizes!

Buy, before all of the pictures begin, Hero Arts and Sizzix have teamed up on die-cuts and stamp sets, as well as embossing folders and stamp sets, and they rock. I simply stamped my image first and the die-cut blade is right on the edge of the die-cut so you can place it perfectly to die-cut. No more Stamp-a-ma-jig for me. The possibilities are really endless with these combinations and the price points are very cost efficient of under $25 for the stamp set that includes the die-cuts and there is a die-cut for every single image in the stamp set. I love it! Here's a great video by Jennifer McGuire to show you how to use the new products.

Thank you for stopping by today to visit me and may God bless you.

Here is my card that I'd like to share with you for this challenge.
