Fading Memories ~ Our Craft Lounge Guest Artist

Good morning friends. Today I have a card for you that I made as Our Craft Lounge Guest Artist this month. I used a new stamp set called Years Gone By. It has fabulous images that you can dress up or down, a bit on the grungy side depending on what you decide to do with the image, and perfect for using the rock 'n roll technique or plain. I have never made a card with a camera on it before so I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to do so. I used the rock 'n roll technique first inking up the image with a very think coat of Buttercup, rolled with Sweet Leaf and then Black, all by Close to My Heart, onto Rustic Cream card stock for my grungy look. Under it all, I took it a bit softer with flowers and black lace ribbon. I also ink distressed my card stock and designer paper. I love the Graphic 45 tag that I used on my card to tie in the Kraft with my ink distressing. I used So Saffron textured card stock for my sentiment and cut it in half with the first line, also cut by word, on the outside of the card and the second line on the inside of the card. Overall, I was surprisingly happy with the results and I hope that you are too. To take a look the entire product line by Our Craft Lounge, I recommend Memories in Time.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless you. Today's Treasure: Proverbs 28. There's some good reading!
