Spring Flowers

Good morning. It's now April 11 and I wrote this pre-post on March 15 and I'm hoping that I have my entire household up and running by now. I made this card just to make it and put life on hold for a little while. I did the coloring last night and assembled it this morning after the usual barrage of phone calls and other pesky details involved with a cross country move. After I get this done, I'm going to tackle the attic. Fun, fun! But, I want to share this adorable clean and simple card that I made with you. It's very bright and cheerful, and I know it perked my spirits up a bit. I love the colors that I used and am actually very happy with how I colored the image. It turned out very well. I also like the detail that I used at the bottom of the card with the pom-poms and Scallop Trim punch, which is an idea that I picked up from a Stampin' Up! catalog. The catalog showed a strip of 1/8" taffeta ribbon and I decided to spunk mine up a notch by using the pom-pom trim. I hope that you enjoy this and that it inspires you for your spring cards. Changing the sentiment, colors, or accessories on this card will make it perfect for any occasion!

Thank you for stopping by to visit me today and God bless.
