French Foliage Fancy Favor Box

Today at Stampin' Up! Only Challenges, we have something fun for you to do and that is to make a project using your Big Shot whether it be a box or just a die-cut. I made this cute little fall box using the Fancy Favor Bigz XL. I've been hooked on French Foliage lately and the regal colors for all of my fall projects. This was very easy to make. I used Cajun Craze textured paper and die-cut my box. I put the box together and set it aside. I cut a piece of Naturals Ivory and then sponged it with some old Creamy Caramel that I had left on a sponge. I stamped my images on the Natural Ivory using More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, and Early Expresso. I then distressed the edges of my image panel with blade and Early Expresso, curled up the left corner and then adhered it to my box. I used the rock 'n roll technique for the leaves adhered to the box and image panel mixing More Mustard and Early Expresso, and Old Olive with Cajun Craze. I stamped an image directly onto a Mini Vintage Tag using Early Expresso and clipped it with a Chocolate Chip Library Clip. I tied a piece of Hemp Twine through a More Mustard designer button and adhered that to the right corner of the box. I've found that using textured card stock when making boxes or really anything else for that matter gives any paper craft some great texture and dimension. It just adds that little something extra that is always the perfect touch and textured paper is quickly becoming the very first thing that I reach for now when making almost anything. Now that I'm hooked on it, I do wish they were sold in individual packages again. Here's my French Foliage Fancy Favor box that I'd like to share with you today. 1. Wow, Cindy – this is wonderful!  I love the box, of course, but girl, your beautiful coloring and layout on the front is what makes the box look good!  I love it all, the clip, the button, the curled edges, WOW WOW WOW!!!  Great job!
