Simple Love

Good morning. This marks the beginning of a new week and I sure hope that it will be better than last week. My house is almost back to normal after the carpet fiasco, but you wouldn't believe the amount of laundry I have to do! I had a lovely Mother's Day and my kids gave me a handmade card from graph paper!

As per my usual Monday, there's the Paper Maniac Inspirations Blog where I altered a coffee cup as our theme this week is to alter something. There's a lot of new stuff in the Paper Maniac Store and I'm having a hard time staying away. I've been banned by Patti (the owner) that she's not selling me anymore Cosmo Cricket or October Afternoon paper, so I had to use some Basic Grey paper. You will definitely want to check out our new items, especially the Karen Foster Scrap Sticks that I flipped over and wiped out her 2.5" inventory. Don't forget to check out the Clearance Section either. There's a lot of great deals there.

I've been hooked on kraft paper lately and this is in today's Color Monday Challenge 56 at Christian Paper Crafts, as well as the Clean and Simple Challenge 66 at Splitcoast Stampers, which is a sketch challenge. I combined the two challenges and came up with my card.

I pray that you have a very blessed day today and that my card inspires you. Today's Treasure: John 6:25-59. Jesus is the Bread of Life.

Stamps: One Person by Verve Stamps
Card Stock: Stampin' Up! Kraft; Basic Grey Green at Heart
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Orange thread from craft supply
Tools: Stampin' Up! Scallop Itty Bitty Shapes
