Great God and King

Good morning. Obviously my favorite Bible verse is Psalm 95:3, which has significant meaning to me. Today's Bible Verse Thursday Challenge 52 at Christian Paper Crafts is to use a verse on your card about praising God and this verse definitely makes me praise God in my heart. The tree on the card represents the burning bush where God calls Moses to his first encounter with the Almighty. God had called to Moses from the burning bush and Moses said, "Here I am." That is what Psalm 95:3 is to me and that's when I finally went to God and made him my God, and where he showed me that he was indeed a great King above ALL gods. I had a pretty big in bondage god in my life years ago and this verse showed me the power of the Holy Spirit, and like Moses, whom God called upon to deliver his people from bondage out of Egypt, God delivered me from my Egypt. Because of that, I praise his Holy name. So this isn't just a card with pretty paper and pearls, there's a life saving meaning behind it. I hope that this inspires you to make something with the creative gift that God has given you to worship him today. May the Lord richly bless you.

  1. Great card Cindy. He is the most awesome God of all. I hope I get to play tonight and perhaps take part in this challenge. It's been a rough week as I had to put our 16 year old cat to sleep Tuesday morning. As I loved him to the very end all I could do was thank God for the gift of this sweet animal who gave us such joy for a very long time.  I pray that you are blessed this week.

  2. When I saw the card in the gallery that's exactly what I thought of (Moses and his encounter with God in the burning bush) My hubby just preached /taught on that a few weeks ago (we are in Exodus in the night service).  We all need a "burning bush" experience!  Thanks for sharing this with us, Cindy.  Your card is gorgeous btw!
