Paper Craft Crew Mid-Week Inspiration, Moroccan Nights

Hello there! I've been very creatively challenged lately and relied upon my friend and fellow design team member, Rick Adkins, to help me out with this card and video. I have no idea how he got his card done in 10 minutes, down to spilling copper embossing powder all over the place, when I edited out a good 20 minutes. He even showed his heat embossing on screen and and no voiceover. But, we're doing custom size banners in my video. I found that I didn't like the large margin around the banner sizes and prefer more of a nesting style. I also have a few tips with using the clear mount stamps (and other stuff), especially when you get ink on the outside of the image because it will show up on your card. I'm a huge fan of photopolymer stamps because I can see exactly what I'm doing and rarely have the problems that I do with rubber stamps.

I first started with an Emerald Envy side-folding A2 size card stock base. I then die-cut a piece of Basic Black card stock with MFT Blueprints 13. I prepped the black card stock with my Embossing Buddy and stamped the large medallion image several times with Versamark Ink. I then added the new and very cool cooper embossing powder to the panel and heat embossed it and adhered it to my card base. I die-cut 2 banners using the Banner Framelit dies from Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla with the same size banner. I then customized the Very Vanilla banner to the size that I wanted for a more cohesive and nested look. I stamped my images from Moroccan Nights onto the Very Vanilla banner using Crushed Curry, Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy. I sprinkled clear embossing powder over all of the images and heat set them. I embellished with Rhinestone Jewels and wrapped copper thread around the bottom of the banner and adhered it to the Crushed Curry banner. I added adhesive foam squares to the back of the banner, added to the left side a smaller banner cut from Dapper Denim card stock and adhered everything to my card. You do not need to have a sentiment on the front of your cards.

I'm not too thrilled with the way that my card turned out. I've done much better work and hopefully I'll get out of this funk soon. Thank you so much for stopping by today and God bless. Below is a full supply list of what I used to make this card.
