MFT Camp Create, Day 5, Shaker Cards

PrintHello there again! I'm now an official graduate of MFT Stamps Camp Create! I've made all 5 challenge cards. Today is all about shaker cards. I've been wanting to make a shaker card with the fabulous Magical Unicorns and coordinating Die-namics for a couple of weeks now and just went for it. I dumped so many different types of sequins and mixes and fun iridescent sequins in my shaker card it's not even funny – and I didn't write down the names of any of them. I just pulled out the stash and in so many pretty colors went!

What's really special about this card is that I used everything that was leftover on my desk from the other 4 cards (read I need to seriously clean my space). I had the rainbow dies leftover from that glitter rainbow card I'm still traumatized over, my Blueprints and other Die-namics are always right behind me, so is my card stock and Copic markers. I used the same distress ink colors that I did for my watercolor card.

This card is way too stinkin' cute that any little girl would love, or even a big girl. Everybody loves interactive cards. I'm glad I was able to tone down my distress ink background because I did go in with a bit of a heavy hand. It took several rounds of water and paper towels to remove the color to where I was happy. This is just a very fun card.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today to visit me and I hope that you have a great day. As always, I will do my best to generate my list of products. I still have to finish up yesterday's list, but I have to tell you that I really need to clean up in here. It's getting a bit crazy overcrowded. I still need to do that serious purge, which I'm hoping to getting around to soon.

BUT, I'm also making up my Stampin' Up! Product Shares and July Kit of the Month for you. I updated my blog yesterday, like get the new catalog up that's been out for 3 weeks. I'm getting there 🙂
