MFT Camp Create, Day 4, Die-Cutting

Print

Hello there! Today I have my My Favorite Things Camp Create card for Day 4, which was die-cutting. I die-cut overkill. There is nothing on this card that is not die-cut, except for my sentiment. I was extremely disappointed and surprised that when I used my Tonic serrated scissors to cut a portion of the top left sun off that it left the serrated marks on my card. I was actually pretty upset as I put it on the card last after all of that die-cutting and coloring. Lesson learned. Either use an extremely precise paper trimmer to chop of the excess or scissors that ARE NOT serrated. I used my MISTI and inked my sentiment up twice for the intense black. All images were colored using my Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Gamsol with blending stumps. Scene cards are fun but they take some work. I also didn't have a plan going into this. I just went with it.

I used The Whole Herd stamp set and coordinating Die-namics, which were not open-face dies and I always struggled with that. Fortunately now, all of their dies are open and it's so convenient.

As always, a full list of supplies will be linked below – but, I'm still putting together my product lists and that takes time, so it will go up later after I generate it. Affiliate links are used when appropriate.

Thank you so very much for stopping by to take the time to visit me today. I hope you enjoy my card. Have a great day and God bless!

Next up is the Day 5 shaker card and I got this one with a super fun stamp set and dies.
