Stampin’ Up! News + Great Bible Studies & Music

Hello there and a very happy Thursday to you! The weather is warming up and I really think summer has arrived!

On that note, June 1, 2016 also means a brand new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog for you! I've seen the catalog and it's awesome. I wasn't expecting the products on board that are on-trend and as usual, will set new trends. There's more Framelits, beautiful updated accessories, such as enamel dots, the new In Colors are so cool in that they really fill in some gaps in our current color lineup. I will be posting more information on that later as I am able to, but I promise that you will not be disappointed with anything! There are a lot of returning favorites as well from current Spring 2016 Occasions Catalog

Today I would like to share with you the retiring products list. If there's something that you really like, especially the accessories and embellishments, now is the time to pick them up. There is a slight increase in price for the 8-1/2 x 11 regular card stock, so I strongly suggest you stock up now. Our core colors are still the name, but the 2014-2016 In Colors are retiring.

I'm one of those that if I really like something, I will hang onto it no matter what, especially stamp set bundles with the coordinating Framelits, most of which are returning from this year's Idea Book & Catalog, as well as the Spring catalog mentioned above. As a courtesy to you, I will be putting together a new Product Share package of retiring and current consumable products this weekend that you can purchase at a discount. I will have all designer series paper, embellishments, ribbon and more! I have some Sale-A-Bration stamp sets too. Be sure to stop back by Sunday night/Monday morning to see my new Product Shares. I still have some 2015 Holiday Catalog Product Shares left and with current and returning products. Be sure to check that out. I'll probably do a video to walk you through my Product Shares. I currently have one up on my Product Shares Page.

I am awful about sending out newsletters and I'm really striving to improve in that area considering the 4-digit subscriber list that I have. Please accept my apologies.

If you would like to be sent a new catalog or the current Spring Occasions (products available until May 31, unless returning), shoot me off an email or place an order in May and receive a free catalog from me with a qualifying order of $150 or more. Considering the deep discounts on thousands of products right now, it won't be hard to fill up your cart. My favorite Botanical Gardens stamp set and Framelits are returning (hint, hint) and I'm very happy about that.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless.

1st John. I haven't been in that book for years. We were in it at church last night and I had notes in there from 2008. I've had my Bible for 25 years and I've always written down the date of the sermon and what church I was at. It's very enlightening to look back at notes that are 8 years old to see where my spiritual walk was and what I had learned from a previous sermon and then look at it again from a fresh perspective and I get something completely new from my pastor's teaching. My current church uses the New King James version, but I've always been a King James gal. In my personal online Bible study with Beth Moore, you can watch her weekly videos at Lifeway for $4.99 and do you a Bible lesson daily, but she uses the NIV. With that, I do have the NIV Bible because I feel that I get more out of her teachings using the same Bible that she does. I remember when living in Kentucky, I had the opportunity to go to Memphis TN, which was only 4 hours away, to see her and she was amazing. She's a tiny little woman, but boy can she pack a punch. We just started a new Women's Bible Study at church on Tuesday night at 7-8:30 pm and I love it so far. We are using Experiencing God. It's not the super intense study that takes you a year to get through, but more of a condensed version that is the 10-week course. On the side, I'm doing Beth Moore's Breaking Free.

It would be really great to see my son at church on Sunday at 11 am so that he can get back to his Biblical roots and stay in Chico this summer where he belongs. There's a real need in the media ministry, which is right up his alley, and it would be a great way for him to serve the Lord. He's old enough to be a camp counselor now and there's a wonderful young men's ministry. Not only that, he's an awesome bass player and the worship team could always use his expertise. I'd love to see him take that gift and use it to the glory of God. All of my kids really need to go back to their church roots and not just play church making an appearance when their heart really isn't into it. You can always tell by the fruits. Being smart, successful and having money is not fruit. It's the condition of your heart that shows your fruit and how you treat others. They are all carrying around some serious baggage bondage and I'd love to see them break free from that. They're adults now and this is their decision, but since I raised them in the church and God's Word never returns void, Proverbs 22:6, I'm praying and believing in that scripture. It's all I can do. You try and you try and you try and it's never good enough. I finally got to the point where I realized that this is too big for me, it was tanking me out emotionally in an awful way, I wasn't designed to haul it around in the first place and then I finally dumped it at the foot of the cross and I'm okay. I'm content and feel like a million pounds has been lifted off of my shoulders and the heavy heart feeling is gone.

So, y'all have a very blessed day and it's time for me to start my day since I'm a few hours behind. I will have some Stampin' Up! kit projects to show you that I'm working on and this fabulous Mixed Media suitcase that I'm working on too.

I would also like to thank everybody for the Get Well cards from the double ear infection, sinus infection and then double pneumonia. I honestly prayed for death. I had not felt that bad since kidney failure and I'd say about 2 days ago I just started to feel a bit human again. After I got out of the hospital (I can't wait to see that bill!), I had an additional 2 courses of antibiotics that was just blech and dropped 10 pounds that I need to gain back per doctor's orders, but doubt that I will. My appetite just is not there anymore. My church brought over small meals for me and a lot of my sisters in Christ stopped by to visit. I just left the front door open since I spent so much time sleeping this off. Everybody helped with Bella too. She was a bit confused and naughty since she got a hold of my beloved Bible and chewed her way through most of Genesis and part of John. I'm pretty devastated. The lady at the local Christian bookstore in the mall found a few places for me to send my Bible out to be repaired and the pages put back together. I refuse to give up that Bible and for being 25 years old that has my life in it outside of my journals and it's still in good condition. I've taken really good care of it over the years. I did splurge yesterday on a big print Bible to read in bed. I'm just at that age where it's easier on my eyes.

If you like some good Christian music, check out Jordan Feliz, The River. The first song, you're going to think why you got the CD. After that, it's great! I downloaded it from iTunes so that I can play it inside with my iHome. The CD is for the car. It doesn't get old.

I also plan on filling back up my Etsy Boutique too (click on the graphic below) with stamping products and some cards. I have bills to pay. Hopefully I will get that done this weekend as well, but the Product Shares come first since I have to prep those and make the video, that I'm still really horrible at.

Again, thank you so much for everything and I'll see you soon.
