Hello there my friends and welcome to this week's Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch 189! Pam has a fabulous card sketch for you this week and I knew that I just had to create something very cool. Last week's was a little bit similar, but the panels were angled. I made a masculine card for you today using Picture Perfect, which is an absolute favorite of mine. It's a 2+ step stamp set. The bird image has 4 stamps to build upon! It's another fabulous stretch your stamps set and they are always keepers in your arsenal no matter what. I do keep the stamp sets that I really love, even after they've retired; same with designer series paper, ribbon, embellishments, you name it! I can't wait to use this stamp set more.

I am scaling back significantly right now as far as de-cluttering that I spoke about in yesterday's blog post. I am determined to meet my July 1 goal of no storage units to pay for anymore, which has now been at least 3 years, and they are not inexpensive either. I'm de-cluttering my life in more ways than one. I just want to keep everything simple. I've been in like this burden baggage bondage of stuff. The main reason for my mission is to supplement my income because it's nowhere what I need to keep my head above water monthly.

I had such a fun time putting together today's card for you. There is so much texture and dimension to this card that I just love it and hope that you will too! My Mid-Week Inspiration today includes a process video as to how I made my card with a ton of tips and tricks on altering die-cuts to choosing how to make the most using your materials. I also have some great tips on fussy cutting, which is something that not many people enjoy, especially me; but the starfish image was easy enough and just look at how smooth my image is! The hardest part of making this card was choosing just the right papers and embellishments. I even finished off the inside of the card for you during the video.

The Picture Perfect stamp set is just amazing. The images are something you would not think belong together in a stamp set, and they really don't in a sense, with the sentiments covering so many occasions. I really do wish that there were die-cuts for this fabulous stamp set. This stamp set is in the Spring Occasions Catalog and is only available until May 31, 2016, so you should really pick it up now. Even after it "retires," I'm keeping this one.

I like the fact that I kept this clean when I could have done so much more, such as ink distress, adding more embellishments, rope, something. Sometimes it's just nice to create with no expectations and just process. I didn't realize the significance of being organized and having a functional place to create really hinders you. You get stressed out trying to let the mojo go when it takes you 2 hours and a broken toe to find a die-cut. That is not good. It's insane. I'm not even all the way put together here and it's perfect. I can't wait until I take the time to git er done, but it's like night and day and really hard to do nothing but chill and create being in such a beautiful space. This is a wonderful happy place.

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit me today. I really appreciate it. Take care and God bless.
