Faith on Friday, So Blessed + Video + CardMaker Magazine FB Sketch Challenge

FOFRotatingBanner

Hello there my friends. It's been a long time since I've made a Faith on Friday project, so I thought that I would do one today for you after seeing a sketch at the CardMaker Magazine Facebook Page. Not only that, I challenged myself to break out craft supplies that I have not used in forever.

A lot of coloring mediums are making a comeback now or have just gone viral, such as water coloring. I thought that I would do something different today and use my Prima Water Soluble Oil Pastels. They are very simple to use and work best with rubber stamps. You get a "controlled" water color effect when stamping. You never get the same results twice and that's what I love about various color mediums.

In this video, I show you how I made this card. Along the way I discovered something that I didn't know. I might be a slow learner, but I demonstrate a comparison between the weight of 12 x 12 patterned card stock versus 6 x 6  patterned card stock. It makes perfect sense.

Here is my video for you. I hope that you enjoy it are inspired to try oil pastels. They are fun to play around with. You can make this card using so many mediums of color on the image.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless! I hope that you have a great weekend.
