Hello there again my friends. Today's card is for my design team work at the Paper Craft Crew. I finally gave in and made a fall-themed card, even though it's still 95 outside. This is the fastest card I've ever made because I forgot about today's challenge, even though it's been every Wednesday for years. The weeks just seem to fly by!
The new Stampin' Up! Holiday 2015 Catalog went live yesterday and just take a look at all of the fun new products and the beautiful holiday projects you can make. The wood leaves are from the Into the Woods Elements that I colored with Tangelo Twist marker. This is definitely a woodsy man kind of card with the burlap, wood elements and embossed banner. I used the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set for the entire card. It's a great stamp set. It is photopolymer so using your markers to color the letters is quite difficult, so used my ink pads to ink up each word and then a baby wipe to remove the ink from the other words. My trusty MISTI helped me do this to keep the sentiment stamp in the exact place every time. I also heat embossed my images and sentiments for that raised look that also brightens up the colors.
