Hello there my friends! How are you doing today? I have a very special and very cool Halloween treat bag to hand out to your little goblins that can be packed full of candy on Halloween! I had such fun making this little bag from the new Stampin' Up! 2015 Holiday Catalog! Instead of making a card for my design team work at the Paper Craft Crew, I made a bag instead. I will admit that the quality of the new Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags exceeded my expectations. These puppies are grocery store paper bag thick. They are also very food safe if you wanted to dress up a muffin or cookies. I couldn't resist using a few perfect retired products on my bag, such as the Trim Lace 1/2" Raven ribbon and the Large Bat Punch. My stamp is from the new Holiday Catalog of If the Broom Fits. That was stamped in the new Basic Black Archival ink pad that will also be available in the new catalog that you can order from on September 1. The Large Bat Punch was perfect and just the right embellishment. I punched out a few pieces of Rich Razzleberry card stock, dry embossed it using the Stylish Stripes folder and then sponged the edges with Rich Razzleberry. I also sponged the edge of my bag panel with Tangelo Twist ink. The Designer Series Paper is from my favorite Happy Haunting and I also sponged Tangelo Twist around that with a strip of Black Glimmer Paper at the bottom. I added Googlie Eyes to the bats too. I found a clothespin and using my Tangelo Twist marker, colored that and then clipped it to the top of my bag using the ribbon listed above with a bit of Black & White twine. I also added some Pretty Pink Posh Halloween sequins and adhered Basic Brights Candy Dots to the center of each to tie in the bats with a visual triangle. I can just see my little cousins loving these bags full of treats! I am making several of them and sending them to their moms so the moms can fill them as they see fit. I have about 80 cousins, no lie, and I think they would not like it if I gave the kids a sugar high. If I had it my way, I would put in a few bars of gluten-free Two Moms in the Raw Blueberry Bars. I don't leave home without them. They are SO good and I forget to eat a lot. I'm just not hungry to tell you the truth, but know I have to keep my water intake up and keep something in my stomach that is light, especially in 110 degree weather!
I got my new Product Shares cut up this weekend but no photographs yet since the movers also helped themselves to my Apple TV, camera and camcorder, which is why I have not done any videos yet. Unfortunately, my hands are tied and I will be forced to file a police report this evening for theft. I know how organized I was and how I had my stuff, despite one particular individual who saw it fit to dump everything upside down in the box and toss the basket on top. That is so time consuming to figure out and beyond frustrating. I should have just been able to unwrap the baskets and put them where I usually store them, not this complete reorganize hell.
