Hogs & Kisses for Aiden

Hey there friends. This is a random card for my baby grandson and for MFTWSC228. I have a video for you on this card, but I need to edit it first. I wanted to get the post up before the challenge deadline was up. I can't wait to start playing with the Flamingo stamp set. It's crazy awesome and so is My Favorite Things being such an innovative company with a fun design team and Kim, the owner, is just wonderful and genuinely a nice person.

Jennifer McGuire did a video on Copic Dot Coloring last week and I CASE'd my pig from her, but in all honesty, I've seen Nicole Magouirk do this technique on her critters and cards for well over a year now, so I'm going to give her the credit for the technique. This card is picture heavy as I did a few more images with the various coloring mediums that I used to achieve the same effect as Copic Dot Coloring.

Now that the formalities are over with, my grandson is my favorite. It's not a girly card. It's very baby boy in a sense with the clean lines, heat embossing and fun farm animals. My sentiments get the point across. I kept the colors neutral of Grout Gray and Pink Insulation. The heat embossed stripes using clear powder also make this card a bit on the masculine side.

I hope you stop back by no later than Tuesday morning to see the video as I did discover some various techniques that you can use with Copic Dot Coloring and other coloring mediums to use that I'm sure you will find interesting, especially for those of you who are neurotic and find random hard to do, such as I did.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today and God bless you!
