You + Me = We Compute w/Video, My Favorite Things August Color Palette Challenge 8

Hi stamping friends. Today I'm playing along with, again, My Favorite Things Color Palette Challenge #8 where our colors are shows to you in the above graphics. This is definitely a fall color palette and I'm not ready for fall. As long as I'm in the pool floating around, tanning, bleaching my teeth and taking an afternoon snooze, it's summer in my world. With this being said, it is a challenge to make a card with the above colors not being a fall card.

I used the My Favorite Things August 2014 products but didn't get as many as I would like for Halloween for my little grandchildren and for my little goblins that might come to my door to make some fun candy treats. I'm starting to put together my granddaughter Lucy's little class exchange at school and she helped me design what she wanted. My other babies are just too young. I'm very excited and am looking forward to sharing those projects with you in plenty of time so that you can do yours too! My kids are definitely not interested in "back to school" items for their teachers and I really miss making things like that so I think I will make some for fun too so that you can get a few ideas.

As I was putting away my stamps yesterday, I saw the sentiment from Office Space and the Office Space Die-Namics and thought about my daddy. Daddy always talked to me in airline terms or computer terms, so I had to do something for him. It was very therapeutic. This card is a total inside joke that only daddy and I would understand and I can imagine his smile and happy laughing when he opened it and telling me, "You did good Cin." He would display it for a month or so and then put it in a special folder that he has which has every single card I've ever made him since I could scribble. Daddy kept them all. The folder has turned into folders that are put into a Rubbermaid and he has a system that starts from my earliest drawings to my latest. When daddy passed away, he had 3 of my cards on his dresser that I made for him. I do miss him so very much. It was an honor and privilege to be his daughter.

I do hope that you enjoy this card and short – yes, I said short, like under 14 minutes short, and that's only because I had to make some changes to balance out the card. I realized I had 12 minutes in there of making mistakes and I'm thinking to myself, I wouldn't want to watch that!

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God Bless you. I have some other videos and cards coming up for you very soon that are already done, but I think I might sneak in a "back to school" project first. Also, be sure to check out my Etsy Boutique and eBay Store in the near future. I have a garage full of stuff that needs to go and I'm confident that there's something in there for everybody. I take custom orders for my Etsy Boutique so there are no boundaries there. All of the cards that I make go directly into the Boutique.

And I'm still taking iPhone pictures. Maybe I will tackle daddy's "too much for me camera." All I need to do is find how to turn on the viewfinder and I think I'm good to go. I'm not sure if there's any software to download OR I could finish cleaning up this living room and find the remotes to the TV that I put together last night and maybe get this place to start looking like a home.

Mark 4:1-29. Great verses on how you reap what you sow.
