Many Blessings – Clean & Simple Tuesday Series w/ Video AND My Special Stampin’ Up! Free Product For You

CASTuesdaysGraphicHey stampers! How are you today? For a long time I was doing my Clean & Simple Tuesday Series on a Wednesday and then I just stopped completely with the move, life, whatever and everything that got in my way. The stroke, driving restriction, physical therapy that I'm still in, but down to 2 hours a day now, thank God, and now it's the dentist. I have had one heck of a time with #7 and now it's time for a titanium implant. It will be my first hardware and definitely not my last. And just one tooth implant is also more expensive than getting the girls done. No, I do not have them done. It's always been on the Bucket List, at the bottom. I had 4 kids and two surgeries on the left, so you can only imagine; however, I had to get a partial implant on the left and with two bouts of breast cancer in 4-1/2 years – take them both off and do whatever you have to do without making me look like Dolly Parton. It's not a lot to ask. I thought tooth implants were more in the $3k range. I have a  beautiful mouth and went through a lot to get it too. The first go-to option that most people take is a bridge. Not in that location and I cannot justify, and never will, destroying 2 perfectly good teeth to make one look good. It doesn't make sense. A lot of people must choose that route because of the cost. I've chosen a different route to be in debt to the dentist forever. Once you get an implant, it's done and over with and you will never have to worry about that tooth again. With crowns and bridges and, and, and, there is always the chance for something to go wrong. I'm so over that because with me, if it can go wrong, it will go wrong, and I have a long enough history to prove that. On Friday I have my CT scan and on Monday, August 25, I get my jawbone drilled into and I am absolutely terrified! I will also somehow finalize the details of next week's Holidary Parade 2014 online card class that I'm teaching. Don't forget to sign up! And don't forget to pray for me! I ask that a lot, so to make it easier, just keep me on your prayer list forever.

As I'm still waiting for my video to process, I thought that I might as well get the pictures up of what we are doing and then add the video later. I have tell you that Windows PC of mine that's at least 7 years old is going to die on me at the most inopportune moment. That will be a very sad day. I've had this Mac now for 3 or so years and I just learned how to insert my watermark a month ago, seriously. I've opened up iMovie Maker a few times, looked at it and almost had a panic attack, then closed the program. I hope I can mess with it enough to do something basic.

There is a program called Parallels that makes your Mac work like a Windows PC. I do have that, but even the version of Windows Movie Maker has changed a lot compared to the one that I use so who even knows if I could do that. I need a secretary and a wife. What I really need is to learn how to use this Mac. There's a learning curve and there's always a time issue. I am going to have to face reality and just spend some time to learn it. Maybe the next time I have a surgery and am supposed to stay off of my feet, like my knee reconstruction that I didn't listen to the doctor about, I will learn how to utilize this Mac to its fullest potential because it certainly cost enough! I signed up for classes that I could take as many times as I wanted to take and how often I wanted to take them in Sacramento for $99 a year. Awesome deal and it would have been perfect if I had done it while I still lived down that way. I'm 2 hours away now. I miss the shopping of the Bay Area something bad, my friends, my daughter (not in that order, of course), I miss it all. Chico isn't bad, but my life is in the Bay Area and it's home for me. I pray about that a lot and that God would open up doors for me to go home but he has me here for a reason(s) and I know one of them and that is to take care of my family here. I also have a great church family at Calvary Chapel and that's something that I've missed so bad since 2006 when I left New York after living there for 15 years. I spent the majority of my adult life there, more so than California, and I do consider New York home still. I raised my kids for the most part in New York and it was just home. So, I don't really know where I will end up. Right now, I just need to be content where I am. I'm less than 2 hours away from the Bay Area so it's really not that bad, but I just want to be THERE.

Okay my friends, the Windows Movie Maker program is not responding, bad words, and hasn't been for about 10 minutes now. The video is done and saved. I'm ready to force quit the program and start all over again. Be sure to stop back by today for the video. Also, every Tuesday, Stampin' Up! has their new Weekly Deals posted. This week, the Elegant Butterfly Punch is over $5 off and the Squares Collection Framelits Die are over $6 off! Very cool. There are more deals than what's listed above but those two really caught my eye. There are always awesome deals and the Clearance Rack is even better! You can't go wrong! There are over 40 products on the Clearance Rack right now at rock bottom pricing. If you want to see them, just click on the rotating banner I have on the right side of my blog at the top. I also think I will get a blog badge that sits on my sidebar all of the time for you to click on as well for convenience. I always tell you to hang onto your dies. If you see them on the Clearance Rack, it's safe to sale them if you would like because they will not be coming back. There are a few dies on the rack right now, like the Backyard Basics, that I am really bummed out over as they had so much more life in them and I loved the coordinating stamp set. Just because something is retiring doesn't mean you have to not use it anymore or sell it. It's yours forever, you made the investment, use it. I tell everybody that. It might not be good for business, but the budget must be respected and you can always and still make very beautiful paper crafts with them. I hang onto stuff I really love but absolutely limit it as I have no space and that reminds me to call Carol today. I am usually an excellent interior designer and organizer but the craft room has me stumped because I'm starting from scratch and what daddy built me in the living room is getting moved to the spare bedroom and I have to work from there on up or whatever. Something just needs to be done and soon because I am starting to go a little nuts. Go shopping with me today!

Oh, and do not forget about the crazy inexpensive Big Shot Bundles going on right now. If you've always wanted a Big Shot but it's been cost-prohibitive to your budget, now is the time to pick a Big Shot up AND get some fabulous products to use with it too! You will be all ready to go right out of the box at a 15% savings! And, to sweeten the deal for you, if you purchase a Big Shot Bundle from me before the promotion is over, I will send you a new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (my choice)! If the a Big Shot Bundle is still not an option for you, consider a Texture Boutique Machine for less than $30. This little darling will do all of your embossing for you. It's not recommended that you use any dies with this machine as it will void your warranty.

Oh wow, long blog post. Enough about me. Now it's time for something for you! Here is the clean and simple card that I made for you today. I hope that you enjoy it and the accompanying video once I sole that little issue. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless you. Always make it a day that counts in your life and in the lives of others.
