Hi friends. I decided to do an organization video this weekend about how to store all of your paper. My storage is very unique and orderly, and I also show you ways to hide away your paper using everyday furniture and decor. I have a very small craft area in Chico since it's in the livingroom. My dad and I carefully planned everything out so that it looks like a library while coordinating with the rest of the house, i.e., there is a large arch as you enter into the livingroom so we got the cabinets with the same arch. We purchased kitchen furniture from Home Depot and it's simply stunning. Instead of having the knobs vertical which would definitely look like a kitchen, we had them place horizontally so it blends in with the room. Our fixtures are oiled bronze, the cabinets are a lovely cream/beige color, and the counter is my favorite pattern of granite, but it's not granite. Granite is a porous surface and one good spill of something would ruin that portion of the counter, so we got the pattern in quartz, which is nonporous. We were both very happy with how it turned out. As I started to bring more crafting items up to dad's, I quickly realized that I don't have enough space. I am contemplating on a floor to ceiling pantry type of addition, but we will see. In the meantime, I've improvised and compromised quite well. We will slowly but surely get around to the craft room itself.
Today, however, we will be focusing on how to organize and creative ways to store your paper with products that are inexpensive and other ideas for your paper. I pretty much covered it all and for those of you who have small spaces, this is the perfect video for you! I just know you will enjoy what I have to show you. The video is an hour long but I also had a lot of ground to cover with very helpful hints along the way to save you frustration and space, so let's get started, shall we?
