Whipping Up Scent-sational Cards, Papertrey Ink Stamp-a-Faire 2013

Hi friends. I'm back with another card for the Papertrey Ink Stamp-a-Faire 2013. This challenge is to make your own scented scratch 'n sniff powder by Whipping Up Scent-sational Cards. I am so glad that I held onto last year's Stampin' Up! scented embossing powder so I could cheat a little. The recipe is really easy if you have the ingredients and not hard to make at all. I just made my card the easy way (wink). Even though I haven't done all of the challenges and techniques yet, they seem to be a lot of fun and you can tell a lot was put into this quality event, so I'm glad I decided to participate. I have until tomorrow (Monday) at noon to get all of the challenges done so I think I just might play a little today between chores.

How I made my card was to stamp the cherries in Pure Poppy ink and let it dry a bit. I then stamped over the cherries using Versamark Dazzle Frost to add a bit of shimmer and sprinkled over the cherry scented embossing powder and then heat set it.

Here is my clean and simple card for you and I hope that you enjoy it!
