Faith on Friday, Sewing Card and Video, ODBDSLC167

FaithOnFridayGraphic

Hi friends. Thank you for joining me for the latest installment of my Faith on Friday series. If this is the first time you're at my blog, every Friday I make a card or project that openly demonstrates my faith and belief in Jesus to you by using Christian stamps. I generally use Our Daily Bread Designs with whatever their Shining the Light Challenge happens to be every week. Our Daily Bread Designs also sponsors my blog and I am very grateful for that. I always try to have a video for you too. This week's Shining the Light Challenge (ODBD167), happens to be a sketch challenge and while I never complain about having a ready made sketch for me, what I had in mind previously is going to be hard to incorporate the sketch, but I'm going to try!

I've always loved the Pincushion and sewing line of products, such as Spool and Tape, as they are so much fun to color.

Have you seen the August 2013 release from Our Daily Bread Designs yet? It's awesome and I love it! Unfortunately, I took the entire release up to my dad's last weekend and didn't bring it home as I'm trying to take some of my favorite crafty supplies up to my dad's house and leave them there since it is such a pain to move them all of the time considering how much I'm going back and forth right now. It's a wonderful release and there's a lot of coloring you can do too! Here's a picture of their August release just in case you haven't seen it yet. You get 8 stamp sets and 2 die-cut sets made exclusively for Our Daily Bread Designs by Spellbinders. The entire bundle is $123.60 and it's worth every single penny. I see myself using this release all year long.

My video is going to be short…ha! At least I'm trying to get them to be no more than 15 minutes max but I'm really aiming for 10. I'm preparing better and doing a lot of work before I start to film to capture your attention, learn the good stuff and to be mindful and respectful of your time since you're kind enough to stop by for a visit. Don't you just love the visual clarity of the pictures? They're amazing!

I hope that you enjoy the card I'm making for you today. God bless you and make it a day that counts!

Hugs and blessings to you!

Photobucket This is such a great sketch. Have fun with it using various themes or even go monochromatic.

Photobucket The card that I made would be an adorable card attached for a crafty friend who sews.

Photobucket I could imagine this card without any images at all using scripture on the two front panels with some lace.
