You Make the Grade, Clean & Simple Tuesday, FTL249

CASTuesdaysGraphicHi friends. I am so glad that I was able to do a card for my Clean & Simple Tuesday series! I am also combining this with my design team work at the Clean and Simple Stamping Blog, Fall to Layout (FTL249). Can you believe next week will be our 250th sketch! That's a lot of sketches to refer back to just in case you find yourself needing a great sketch on the go!

Today's card was really easy to make – aren't they all?! Instead of reaching for my usual Stamper's Select White, I went for grid paper this time since my card has a school theme to it and it reminded me of notebook paper. It's just the little details that can enhance your card to much and make a big difference.

My "grounding shelf" that the books are sitting on is a word bubble stamp from Paper Smooches (Shadows). I flipped it upside down and covered the small corner that leads into the word bubble. Worked perfectly!

I think this is just the most adorable card for a girl to tuck away in her lunchbox for the first day of school. You can simply change the colors out to make it more of a masculine card.

Unfortunately, the pictures do not do this card justice. I really need to find my light box and get it set up.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today and God bless you!
