Free For All Friday at Flourishes, Featuring Julie Koerber

Hi again my friends. Today I'm participating in a new challenge at Flourishes of Free For All Friday. This challenge is where a design team member is interviewed and you are to CASE a card that she made. This week's Designer Focus is none other than Julie Koerber! I chose Julie's Berry-licious card. It's a great stamp set to color. I made a few changes to it, such as using the entire image panel and coloring it, adding a scallop with pearls, and a red flower button with twine. I also used my Signo White Gel Pen to color in the "seeds" of the strawberries. I also used a few different colors, sentiment and frame. What really drew me to this card was the fact that Julie used Memento's Peanut Brittle ink for her main image rather than the standard black.

Julie and I go WAY back. We started the Bring Back Beautiful challenge at Flourishes together several years ago that has now evolved into an international team of Beautiful World.

I love reading bio's of my different stamping friends and other parts of their lives. You always learn something fun and new.

This card is also for Splitcoast Stampers Queen For The Day 165 where Jill is the Queen! I picked Jill's Embroidered Apple card since our colors are the same and we're both using fruit. If you look very close at Jill's card, she actually did embroider the apple and did a wonderful job!

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless you.

PS: I'll be changing some blog graphics this week to reflect my June card class of Just Cards!
