Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge 220 (FTTC220) and SCS Featured Stamper 328 (FS328)

Good morning friends. Today I have card for you covering a couple challenges of Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC220) where you are to use blue and green on your card. Easy enough and that's my kind of challenge. The 2nd challenge is for Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper 328 (FS328) where my good friend Colleen Dietrich is the featured stamper! Congrats Colleen!

I chose to CASE Colleen's CAS Mum card and made my Be Still card. This is completely backwards for me to take a clean and simple card and turn it into a card with a lot of embellishments, die-cutting, coloring, ink distressing, etc. I loved Colleen's original card and of course, the colors drew my eye. She used 2 die-cuts and stamped a sentiment on and made something beautiful.

For my card, I used about 15 different blue Copic markers (no kidding) and colored the inside of each flower green. To shine it up a bit, I added a blue and green Copic Spica marker, which is a glitter pen of sorts. My embellishments are a variety of Tim Holtz baubles. I even tied a triple bow using Becca's Bow Maker. The little crystal charm helps bring out the glitter pen and my button at the top right balances the card with my sentiment at the bottom left. I really like how my card turned out and used several Flourishes Color Collections to achieve my final result.

I hope you enjoy this card and thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today. God bless you and make today count.
