FTTC215, SC431 Vintage Hat Card, Clean & Simple Class

CleanAndSimpleGraphic

Hello my friends. Only a few more weeks to the start of the Clean & Simple Card Class! You can sign up HERE and it's so easy. To sign up, fill out the left side of the registration form. If you're already signed up, you sign in on the right side. I already have some card samples up there for you. This is going to be a great class!

Today's card is for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC215) and my sketch is from the Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge 431 (SC431).

The Flourishes Challenge is a bit unusual in that you have to find an object around the house to incorporate into your card or project. The only thing I had available was the top of the pull off tab for my cat food but it smelled really gross and fishy after I washed it, so I grabbed a can of soda and used that for a ribbon slider.

Job 1:8. I don't like that Bible verse. I've had 3 people tell me that Bible verse in a period of 10 days. Bad timing God. I have so many notes written in my 16-year-old Bible. One of the questions I have at the very top page that I asked myself is "Why is there suffering," and the answer is "morality." My other notes are very interesting for you to know that Satan is a created being. He used to be an angel, God's highest angel who is actually very beautiful from the Bible's description of him. But, he's still a created being by God who has limited power. He can't be everywhere at once like God. He is not omnipresent. Satan's throne is the Earth and God gave him dominion over the Earth due to the sin/fall of man in the garden. Satan has direct access to God and enters heaven. This has always confused me and I will have to study it more because God does not allow sin into heaven and Satan is a fallen angel. We always war against principalities and powers, not flesh and blood, and sometimes that's really hard to remember, especially when you have one out trying to annihilate you, but it's not that person. It's Satan's total control over that person. Satan never wins the war. He will win a few battles along the way but he NEVER wins the war. Satan does not have direct access to me because I AM GOD'S DAUGHTER. Satan and his demons (1/3 of the angels of heaven) know their Biblical future, Matthew 8:29, Colossians 2:15, Daniel 11:32, Romans 11:33-36. God is mentioned to be almighty more times in Job than in the rest of the Bible. My name is mentioned in heaven by God. Wow, what a blessing and isn't that so cool that God calls you by your name. You are unique and individual to Him. I am wonderfully made. Satan has to ask God to get his permission to touch me. Job tells of God's behavior and how God allows my trials and tribulations and show his glory to me in the end 7-fold. I have to tell you that I am having the trial of my life right now and it's enough. I don't want anymore. We're in the end times where the wheat is separated from the chafe. I'm being refined and tested, and this is a test I will not fail as my faith in the Lord will stay strong no matter what hits me and everything is in His hands.
