Hi my friends. Today I'm playing in the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC213) where the challenge is to grab some thread. I used a zigzag stitch around my patterned paper. I'm not much to sew on cards but really does add a cool touch. I played in last week's challenge and remember uploading my card and seeing it, but it's not there for some reason. Last week's card is the bucket of tulips below. I love how today's card turned out and it only took 2 days to make! One of these days in one sitting, I will get something done! Coloring is so very therapeutic.
Flourishes also has this Color Made Easy coordinating products from various manufacturers of what we all have on hand, like Memento Ink, Copic markers, etc., and have put it all together for you to make color easy. No thinking involved. They put together the paper for you, the Copic marker combination (some of which can be up to 5 colors rather than the standard 3 for stunning effects, like on my yellow tulips card), buttons, ribbon, the matching Memento Ink, everything. There's also a Swatch Book for the Copic markers, which is great; however, I do wish there was an overall reference with each color combination in a book like that, so I ended up printing each color combination out on good card stock and put it in my reference notebook.
1 Peter 4:15. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
Try coloring your image using more than the basic 3 markers. I used up to 6 on some of my yellow tulips.
Mix and match the Spellbinders Nestabilities!
Add machine stitching to your card and elegant embellishments with an unexpected base of the card, like I did with my black card stock.
