Introducing Trendy Circle Sentiments and Whimsical Banners for the Inspired by Stamping April 2013 Release

Hi friends. I hope that you're enjoying all of the countdown projects for the Inspired by Stamping April 2013 release! Today I'm sharing with you Trendy Circle Sentiments! This stamp set is an add on to our Circle line of stamps. I love the fonts and new sentiments that are perfect for every occasion and I know that you will too! Now, onto my projects!

My cards showcase Whimsical Banners, Trendy Circle Sentiments, and a March 2013 releases of Fancy Circles. I love how all of the sets work perfectly together! I got a little scrappy with this card which is not my usual style but I had fun making it and always trying new things.

My projects today feature October Afternoon's Cakewalk series as it's a predominantly birthday theme, but for my second card, I used another new set called Creative Tags (my card doesn't do this set justice), and gave you a quick peek of one sentiment that goes perfectly with one piece of paper in the Cakewalk series – that one piece of paper that you never know what to do with in an 8 x 8 or 6 x 6 paper pad.

We have so many fun new releases this month of 7 brand new stamp sets in all! Be sure to check Joanna's blog daily for prizes, announcements and more inspiration from the design team!

Thank you so much for stopping by today to visit me and God bless you! Now, onto my projects!

My first card is a combination of Whimsical Banners and Trendy Circle Sentiments. My card is A2 size folded at the left side. I die-cut a decorative edge on the right side and the base of my card is Kraft card stock. I then cut a piece of cream card stock to 5 x 4-1/4 and started stamping the triangle pennant (there are many banner shapes in Whimsical Banners!) using various archival inks of Aquamarine, Rose Madder and Soft Sand. I had a wooden arrow in my stash, stained it with the ink colors above and tucked it under the Kraft grosgrain ribbon. It's a very fun and graphic geometric card that I hope you enjoy.
