Flourishes Timeless Tuesday 211 (FTTC211), Tulips

Timeless-Tuesday-New-Logo1

Hi friends. I'm making a card for the Flourishes Stamps Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTT211). I'm still trying to get everything organized and give my rubber equal opportunity attention. I haven't playing with my Flourishes Stamps for a very long time and I've been thinking about this one particular image lately with the tulip in a bucket.

I broke out my April Showers stamp set, although there was just a release of an image very similar of the one I'm showing you, of Tulips for Friends. I'm also thrilled that Silhouette Cut Files are available for some of the stamp sets now. I've also been hunting high and low for card stock, ribbon and other embellishments that Tsukineko Memento Ink, since that's my go-to ink and all stamp manufacturers have their own everything to match. It's a lot of stuff and I wanted to stick with one brand and I found it at Flourishes with their Color Made Easy! It's saved me some serious craft grief and is really color made easy!

Today's Timeless Tuesday Challenge 211 (FTTC211) is to go green. I am using green for my stamps and as an accent color on my frames. I've also decided to make this a shaped card too. I just love the way this card turned out and it's definitely a favorite of mine.

I hope you enjoy this card and thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today. God bless you.

I think that one of the things I love about the Bible the most is not only the complete truth of God's Word, but there's answer to every topic under the sun, no matter what it is.

Proverbs 12:10. A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

I believe it's okay to "put down" an animal to end needless suffering, because it's done out of love rather than to hurt somebody; but to kill animals for the selfish gain of money if you are not a farmer where it's your livelihood, that is abuse.

This is dedicated to my beloved cow, Hubert, who was sent off to auction for no reason at all. I wish I had the chance to say goodbye to him and give him one last hug. He was walking toward me because I had called him to come and visit me. I have many more Hubert pictures to show and if you're interested, I will write a separate post on him. I loved him very much.

Here is today's card that I'd like to share with you and hope that it inspires you to color something pretty.

  1. Awww… such a cutie Hubert is!  Fabulous card Cindy!  Glad you grabbed some Flourishes goodness to play along with us.  Thanks for joining us at Flourishes for our "Timeless Tuesday Challenge"!

  2. How very sweet! I used to have a kitten that was just gone one day I came home from school.  Still makes me sad to remember.  Beautiful card! Love the stamped scrolls and ribbon treatment you used!
