Inspired By Stamping Sneak Peak Day 2, FS317, CAS-ology 33, Just a Note

Hi friends. I thought that I would pop in real fast to share with you two more sneak peeks for the Inspired by Stamping March 2013 release on March 10 and share with you a card that I made for Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper Challenge 317 (FS317) and for CAS-ology Week 33 to use circles. My card is below and the sneak peeks are under that.

I used two previously released stamp sets of Delicate Doilies and Small Fancy Labels 4 for my clean and simple card.

This is a verse that a dear friend sent to me this morning. Thank you Jennifer.

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings,
knowing that suffering produces endurance,
and endurance produces character,
 and character produces hope,
and hope does not put us to shame,
because God's love has been poured into
our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Photobucket Different colors and/or images. See Instructions below how to get your images perfectly centered without having to use a stamp positioner. This card has less than 5 steps to complete it.

Photobucket When layering, use a lighter weight card stock for any layers that are adhered to your base.

Photobucket Add a small embellishment to the center of the doilies. I didn't do this to keep it clean.

Stamps: Delicate Doilies, Small Fancy Labels 4 (Inspired By Stamping) with links above
Card Stock: Ripe Avocado, Whisper White
Ink: Enchanted Evening, Harvest Gold, Simply Chartreuse, True Black
Punch: Ticket
Size: 5-1/2 x 4-1/4

Photobucket

Photobucket Cut Ripe Avocado card stock to A2 size landscape and score at 5-1/2.

Photobucket Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 5-5/16 x 4-1/16 and use a ticket punch on all four corners.

Photobucket Stamp the far left image first using Simply Chartreuse ink; stamp the far right image second using Enchanted Evening ink; then center the middle image between the other two images and stamp with Harvest Gold ink. Stamp all images slightly above the center of the card stock so that you can stamp the sentiment under the middle image while still maintaining balance.

Photobucket Stamp sentiment with True Black ink directly under the Harvest Gold image.

Photobucket Adhere the image and sentiment panel to the Ripe Avocado card base.

  1. Love the precision of your stamp placement –  it can be tricky, but it's oh so important on a CAS beauty like this! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!

  2. Those doilies are beautiful, Cindy!  LOVE the colors you used on this!  The simplicity of your design is wonderful!  🙂
Thanks for joining us for this week's CIRCLE challenge at CASology!
