Introducing Mason Jar Add On III for the Inspired by Stamping March 2013 Release

Hi again friends. Tomorrow is the Inspired by Stamping March 2013 Release in full and I will also share with you the release in so that you can see the pictures and make informed decisions for your purchase. Very exciting! Today all of the Senior Designers are making a card and I am using the new Mason Jar Add On stamp set. I went totally monochromatic on this card using a yellow spring color.

I used a die-cut and cut file for my jar with ribbon, alcohol-based markers and Stickles, buttons and yellow twine. There is also glitter in my buttons to die in the center of my flowers. I paper pieces the gingham strip which is exactly what the card needed for a clean finish.

Below are my pictures and don't forget to check out Joanna's blog for the contests and prizes! Thank you so much for your excitement on this fabulous release!

Also, did you know that we have a Mason Jar Add On I and Mason Jar Add On II? So versatile! I think you can count on many more Mason Jar Add On stamp sets too 🙂

Photobucket Cut yellow card stock to A2 size rounding all corners by 1/2". Cut a piece of white card stock to 3-3/4x 4-3/4 and die-cut the bottom of the white card stock into a fun pattern. Die-cut a yellow tag and tie satin yellow ribbon through the tag cutting a "v" into the ends. Die-cut the mason jar using the Silhouette Cameo cut file twice and die-cut the top of the jar using the Silhouette cut file.

Photobucket Stamp both pieces of white card stock with black ink using the coordinating mason jar image. You will need to cut out the inside of one of the jars to use as a mask to cover the edges of the mason jar and then stamp flower images onto the full mason jar randomly. Pull off the mask and color the insides of the flowers using 3 alcohol-based markers to blend and color the inside of the mason jar using the lightest color of ink. Do the same with the mason jar lid. To cover the center of the mason jar lid, stamp a gingham image onto a piece of white card stock using yellow ink, make a template and cut around the template adhering it to the mason jar as shown.

Photobucket For the center of each flower, dab on Wild Honey Distress Stickles, or any color that you choose, and let try overnight. In the meantime, choose 5 yellow buttons that will coordinate nicely and that are size appropriate for the scallops at the bottom of the white card stock. Thread white and yellow twine through the buttons and adhere the buttons to the card stock with a glue gun. Cut the ends of the twine for consistency and tie a small bow in the middle button.

Photobucket Stamp sentiment at the top left corner with black ink and adhere the image panel to the yellow card stock base. Adhere the yellow tag to the white card stock at an angle as shown. Add foam tape to the back of the mason jar and adhere to the tag. Add the top of the mason jar decoration to the mason jar with foam tape.
