Christmas Blessings for Faith on Friday {12/07/2012}, Our Daily Bread Designs

Hi friends. Today is a day of remembrance at Pearl Harbor. When I was about 9 years old, I actually had the privilege to be on the USS Arizona. There  are so many Americans who unselfishly give their lives daily for this country and those men and women should be making the front page of the newspapers, not insanely ridiculous politics. It's sad to look back on that event and our freedom that those men so gallantly gave their life for is now being stripped from us by our current president and the United Nations. It's tragic.

Today I would like to share with you my Faith on Friday card made with a sentiment by Our Daily Designs stamps. The sentiment is so bold that it can hold it's own as a focal point on any card or scrapbook page. That is one thing I love about Our Daily Bread Designs. Their images and sentiments are totally Christ-centered and it allows me to use the gift that God has given me to share my faith. This card is on the scrappy side which is unusual for me but I am happy with how it turned out.

My studio is an absolute disaster so I can't even find the card that I made but the two stamp sets are at least still out on my desk and pictures were taken. Even though this card's sentiment is the focal point, Our Daily Bread Designs stamps can command that. I made this card specifically for their Shining the Light Challenge (ODBDSLC133) and it's a sketch challenge this week. Oh, I just remembered that I gave the card to Dr. Anand yesterday! Whew! I thought I was seriously losing my mind.

Also, their December release rocks, seriously rocks. I love it! You can check out the December Bread Basket Bundle with 2 background stamp sets, die-cuts, and so much more. There are several sets in this release (and January's release too) that I will be using in my Season of Love Online Card Class. I am going to show you how to make love cards with snowflakes! It can be done and you will love it. You will also receive a 10% discount too with any product purchased during class, courtesy of Our Daily Bread Designs. You can sign up for this great class on the right side of my blog or at the link above!

I have some great pictures to show you of my card and thank you so much for stopping by to see me today. God bless you!
