Good morning. I hope this Thursday finds you well.
Today I made a card just to make a card. I'm trying to do that a few times a week while I'm editing videos for my Card Classes. I am so into die-cuts right now. I always have been, who isn't, but they're just getting some extra special attention lately.
I made this card with my sentiment as the focal point. I should have done a video on this and probably will do something similar for my Card Classes since I still have a few more videos to go. We're doing Thanksgiving and Christmas cards and other fun things. Since we're well into this, I won't be starting another class until mid-December to sign up and then class will start on January 1 for my Season of Love Series 2013. We will be doing Valentine's Day gifts and cards, as well as Anniversary, Wedding, and anything to do with love, including a few daily I Love You random cards.
I love the colors I used and the textures that I made for this card. My sentiment is stamped on some very subtle patterned paper behind a die-cut shape that I used and put on foam tape and I stamped the flourishes myself onto the white card stock. The holly leaves and berries are die-cut and I put a very small pearl in the middle of the berries. I used tiny glue dots to adhere this to the card. I noticed that I haven't used much ribbon lately so maybe that's another phase. Who knows with me. Everything was adhered to a linen card stock base showcasing the depth and dimension this card has without being too thick or bulky.
Let me know what you think of this card. I pray you have a great day and God bless you!
I absolutely, positively, love, love, LOVE this one! Very, very pretty!
I don't have these fancier dies, but I really like the way the card came together.
Great card!
