Day 11 of the 12 Days of Christmas Series 2012, Celebrate the Season

Hi friends. I thought that I would get done by the end of October for my 12 Days of Christmas Series 2012 but I'm 2 cards short, one of which I will make up today. I also made this card for CAS-ual Fridays #77 (CFC77) to make a masculine card.

This is a pretty easy card that I really enjoyed making. There's some ink distressing involved with heat embossing and a lot of rhinestones but it only took a few minutes to make and it's a great masculine card too!

I stamped the tree cluster from Papertrey Ink Through the Trees onto Stamper's Select White Card Stock using Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink. I then ink distressed the entire panel using Black Soot for definition, Iced Spruce and Peacock Feathers. I stamped on my snow using a cluster from Papertrey Ink Winter Snow Globe with ColorBox Frost White Pigment Ink and then adhered Stampin' Up! Basic Jewels: Rhinestone (the smallest size) to the center of each snowflake. I adhered the image panel to a piece of Papertrey Ink White Shimmer card stock cut into your basic A2 size with the crease at the left using foam tape for dimension.

Next I stamped the sentiment from Think Big Favorites #10 onto the card stock with Versamark, sprinkled black embossing powder over the sentiment, tapped off the excess and then heat embossed it.

So many techniques for a great card that took so little time.

I hope that you like this and thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and see me today. God bless you!
