PCCCS011, Christmas Stockings

Hi friends. Things are finally settling down at the Coutts house with the move. I can see the floor and organizing and unpacking is coming along nicely. I can also see a light at the end of the tunnel, which is a good thing. I would like to thank my club members for being so patient with me on September's Kit, as well as October's Kit. You can be assured that I'll be working very hard on the videos and getting your supplies to you. I also desperately need to update my blog with the latest Stampin' Up! October specials that you don't want to miss, so stay tuned!

Today's card is for my design team work at the Paper Craft Crew Challenge and we have a sketch for you.

When you upload your card to other online galleries, please use the keyword PCCCS011 so that we can find you and leave a comment and it will also help us to spread the word about our challenge! For my challenge card, I flipped the image. I used the Open Sleigh stamp set and the swirl image is my "mantle" that I hung the stockings from. To tie in the mantle and Early Espresso, I added a Designer Natural Button for balance. I deviated from the Holiday Catalog for a little something different and used products from the Idea Book & Catalog.

I am still trying to get use to this Mac and the learning curve and oh my is it bad. I haven't even figured out how to insert my watermark yet and I'm definitely doing my videos on the PC Windows laptop just to get them done. One of these days I'm going to have to learn how to do all of this and get both laptops into the store to get everything from the PC transferred to the Mac. Ugh. Oh and my light box that the movers destroyed, I'm really missing that! The picture quality is great due to the Mac but the presentation of where I'm taking the pictures is not doing them justice.

I hope that you enjoy this card and thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today. May God richly bless your day!

  1. Love the stockings hung by the chimney with care.  On your supply list I see that you use the stamp-a-ma-jig.  I am the "stamp-a-ma-jig queen" (called this by my upline) so this card is right up my alley.  Thanks for sharing.  Great job.  Mary
