Partial Dry Embossing With a Folder

Good morning friends. I've been out of town for a week and extremely busy with preparing my classes and Monthly Kit Club. I still have so much to share with you! For today's card, I've made you a video too on partial dry embossing.

I have also filmed a video on how to put together perfect clear mount stamps so that they don't cup and stick to your block every single time, as well as a strong adherence to the inside of the storage case. You will love this video!

Today's card is for Stampin' Up! Only Challenges (SUOC47) with the theme of frilly, i.e., super girly! I had so much fun making my card using products from the new 2012-2013 Idea Book & Catalog. My card has die-cutting, dry embossing, and all sorts of very cool products and embellishments. I used a color combination that I've never used before centering around the Comfort Cafe Product Suite. What is really fun about this card is that my colors are masculine, but in adding the right feminine elements, it turns girly 🙂

Be sure to check out what the design team has provided you for inspiration and leave them some love. We'd love to have you join us today and for all of our challenges! Below are still photographs of my card and the video tutorial is under that.

Thank you for stopping by to visit me today and God bless you.

  1. Beautiful card, Cindy!  Love that vivid butterfly 🙂 and the partial embossing is too much fun – so clever!  Great hearing your voice on your videos!  I'll be in Los Angeles and Sunnyvale in July – maybe we can have a cup of coffee 🙂  Hugs…
