Oh thank God it's Friday…not that it makes a difference in my work schedule, but it sounded good. Today I made a fairly clean and simple card. While there's layers on it, there is not an over abundance of embellishments, such as ribbon, brads, etc. I had used a stamp that was collecting dust for my background and glitter for my sprinkles, which I never use, and that was my only bling. I love the muted colors I used on this card too and also used some paper that was collecting dust. I am also making another run through my craft room and eBaying. I've got another round coming up this weekend. I'm very good about if I don't use it for 6 months, it goes up for auction. I'm the same way with my closet too. I'd best hurry up and type this so I can go to the pool, float around on my Molly Brown, and sleep.

Some good news that I'd like to share with you is that the Summer 2010 Edition of Christian Paper Crafts is up! I put this together in My Digital Studio by Stampin' Up! It's totally primitive in that my formatting is inconsistent when it comes to how the supplies and instructions are listed. I just ran out of time. I tried to convert it to PDF, which was a nightmare, but then by the grace of God, it all came together. Our Fall Edition will be perfect!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting me today. God bless your weekend.

It sure is hot and humid here in Kentucky today. Not that I'm complaining, as I have a date with my pool in about an hour. I wanted to make a card using the Taylor Expressions Sketch Challenge 117. Having a good sketch really helps me get started on a card. I use sketches about half of the time when I make a card and the other half, I wing it. It's beautiful outside and I thought that this card would be perfect. It did take a few hours to make because of the detail, but overall, I think it was worth it. I left the inside blank to stamp in a Bible verse. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy this and that it inspires you in some way!

Good afternoon. I decided to make this card just to make it. Taylored Expressions has some great stamp sets that I've been having a lot of fun playing with and I'm still so in love with their organizational system that specifically caters to my neat stamp OCD. They just had a new release on Friday and I got my new stamps in the mail today! They're sitting on my side table and as soon as I get this up, I'm going to open them and put them away in their binders. This was one of those take all day cards because I had to redo the strawberries on the right. They were too big the first time around  and  I wanted to keep this card A2 size. Let me know what you think? Thank you for stopping by and have a very blessed rest of the day.

Good afternoon! I wanted to participate in a couple of challenges before I drew names for the contests mentioned yesterday just to have a little fun. All work and no play is not a good thing and I have not forgotten about you. There was just a tremendous amount of work to do. The sun is playing peek-a-boo, so I'm debating on whether or not to have my afternoon siesta in the pool. That protective covering stuff they put over my transplant fell off last night and it's left me with a terrible headache (probably need Claritin) and my jaw very achy. I don't feel like eating so I can't take Motrin so it doesn't ache anymore. It's a vicious cycle and I'm going to have to do something real soon.

Today's card is for Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge 42 and Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge 18. I decided to start taking pictures of the inside of my card, as well as the envelope. I've been getting really lazy lately and not doing the inside or an envelope, which does have its advantages when you need a card on the fly, but I made this card specifically for somebody and completed it.

I hope you enjoy this and thank you so much for stopping by. God bless your day.
