Good morning! It's good to be home and getting back into somewhat of a routine, that will all change again once school starts in 2 days. Today is Tuesday Throwdown and your challenge is to make a monochromatic card. Our sponsor is Lily Patch Boutique and the prize is a handbag giveaway. Sweet! I'm sorry that I don't have a link for them, but it should be on the challenge site.
I decided to use greens on my card, about 7 different colors of green! My image panel is actually one stamp using various greens. Won't you join us today? We'd love to see what you can do with this challenge. You will want to link your card back to the Tuesday Throwdown challenge website and you'll have a week to complete the challenge. Your name will be tossed into the prize pool and who knows, you could come out of it with a new handbag!

Today at the Tuesday Throwdown (TT10) challenge, we are having Christmas in July, so I made a Christmas card. I have to tell you that I CASEd this from my friend Becky, because I just fell in love with it. I made a couple of little changes to it, such as adding the stick pin and changing the sentiment, but that's it. It's a very clean and simple card that is just beautiful. Our sponsor today is CSN Lighting with the prize being a $50 gift certificate, so you will definitely want to play along with us today. We would love to see you and what you create for this challenge, and ask that you stop by to see what we all made for the challenge as well. Thank you for coming to my blog and I pray that you have a very blessed day. Today's Treasure: Luke 2:11.

Good morning. I hope your week is going well so far. Today is Tuesday Throwdown sponsored by Whimsy Stamps. Today's challenge is to paper pierce. I am not a paper piercing kinda gal which is why you only see the corners of my image pierced. As hard as I try, I cannot achieve the perfection that so many other crafters have, or even a decent job! I don't know if it's the tool that I have or what. It has this hook on the end and I've seen others that are just sharp. I'll have to check this out more one of these days. In the meantime, I'd love to share my card with you. My image is a digi stamp called Maya Blowing Bubbles and it's really cute. I wish that I would have taken a look at the samples because they're awesome and it would have given me more ideas on how to color my image. We'd love for you to play along with us today and show me what you can do with paper piercing. Thank you so much for stopping by and God bless.

Good morning! Today is Tuesday and that means another Tuesday Throwdown! Our sponsor is DeeDee's Digis and she has some adorable digital stamps. When I saw her Sweet Summer set, I knew I had to have it because I had the PERFECT paper that I've had for about 2 years and am surprised that I didn't eBay it off by now. It did pay off to keep this because it was so worth it! This card is so sugary sweet it's not even funny, but I couldn't resist. What do you think? Oh, by the way, we were supposed to put stitching on our card and I forgot. That's the problem when I start something one day and then finish it the next – a few things slip out of the brain! I could have put some faux stitching on this card, but I think it would have cluttered it too much. Let's see what you can do with this challenge and win yourself a digi from DeeDee's shop or get a cute Top 3 blog badge if we choose your project. Have fun and God bless your day!

Good morning. It's time for another Tuesday Throwdown! Can you believe this is already our 7th week? It's definitely gone by fast but I'm enjoying the challenges and I hope you are too. This week's sponsor is Kim Sherrod Studios. Our very own Kim Sherrod, who is one of the founding members of Tuesday Throwdown has her own stamp line with more releases in the near future. I made my card using the Flower Girl digital stamp. Digital stamps really used to intimidate me and I wouldn't touch them with a 10-foot pole, that is until I learned to resize them and use some good card stock to color with Copic markers. You can use almost any medium to color digi stamps with, as well as printing them out, such as on designer paper to paper piece.
Our challenge today is to use the mosaic technique. I had never used this technique before. I almost cringed when I had to cut up my cute little image, but it turned out pretty cool. What do you think? We'd all love to see you play along with our challenge today to be eligible for a prize from our sponsor and maybe your card will be in our Top 3 picks and you'll get a blog badge. I hope you have a very blessed day and I'll see you next Tuesday with another throwdown!

Good morning! Today is Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 6 and our theme is to make a black and white card with a splash of color. I think I have a few splashes, but that's okay. I am so pleased with the way that this card turned out. I used several different elements for embellishments. The sponsor for our challenge today is Bren Yule, an Executive Director with Close to My Heart, that is a direct sales company that sells scrapbooking and cardmaking products.
My friend Faith, aka Markie's Mom, has started her own stamp company called Mark's Finest Papers. I used the stamp set Ladybugs and Carnation on my card. I've started to build up quite the collection of her stamp line. The stamps are very high in quality and great for coloring, not to mention that she's got me hooked on charms now and sells a wonderful line of them, as well as ink and papers, embellishments, and a whole host of other products. Please go and take a look at her store and you'll be happy that you stopped by.
Now I would like to share my card with you. I used a Get Well sentiment on the inside of the card as this is going to my uncle who just had back surgery about 10 days ago. I think the card is masculine while being bright and cheerful at the same time, and I got to color a lot using my Copic markers. I hope that you like this and that it inspires you in some way! Thank you for playing along with our Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 6 today and we'd love to see you back next week. Until that time, may the Lord richly bless you. Today's Treasure: Luke 21:33.
