Disclaimer: I have the worst sinus migraine so any coloring out of the lines or any other card faux pas is a casualty. How long does Sudafed take to work is today's question. So far, at least 2 hours and no relief in sight yet. Prayer is definitely appreciated. There's only two things that will bring me down, a toothache and a migraine.

Today's card is for CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge 13, where you are to be inspired by summer. This card is summer to me because I live in a woodsy area and there's mushrooms all over the place, including my little garden by my pool where I hope to sleep today and shake this migraine off. There's not a cloud in the sky! I have allergies something wicked ever since I moved to Kentucky and can sneeze 22x in a row, which is my personal record. I finally got some antibiotics yesterday and took 2 the second I got them rather than one, so I'm a little green from that and add in a sinus migraine, ugh. Enough about me and my woes. This is a happy blog and it's going to stay that way, for the most part. Although on Monday, I encountered this woman who desperately needs prayers and Jesus, so please send some her way that she comes to know the real Christ and humbles herself before Him. God knows who she is and will hear your petitions. She definitely has an extremely rough road ahead of her that she'll be forced to face.

This card is also for Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge 25. I didn't make a circle shaped card, but used a circle for my image.

Let me know what you think and thank you for stopping by to see me. God bless and have a great day! Oh, and don't forget to get your Paper Creations Magazine Fall Edition! I have a few cards in there and for their Winter Edition, I think I either have 9 or 11 cards in there! How exciting and a blessing! This is what is inside the Fall Edition, and the Sunflower Thank U card is one of mine.

Okay, cheesy, I know. I couldn't think of another name because there's really not too much to this card and that's good, because it's for today's CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge 11 (CWC011). The challenge was to make a "kraft-y kreation," and that's exactly what I did. This card took about 3 minutes to make with the longest amount of time spent on stamping my sentiment on scratch paper to make sure that it came out straight when put on my paper. I then found a cute and colorful butterfly sticker and scored two lines at the top of the card, which is hard to see in the photos. What do you think? I hope you like it and thank you for stopping by today. God bless.

Quick card before I head off to the gym and yes, another Father's Day card that I made for today's CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge 8 and Splitcoast Stamper's Sketch Challenge 285. This is a very clean and simple card that only took a few minutes to make. FYI: Hambly Screenprints designer paper does not hold ink or else I would have stamped another sentiment line on the bottom leading up to the lower case 'd' on my card. I hope you enjoy this and thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit me today!

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday to you! It's not quite 6 a.m., but the sun is out and it's pouring cats and dogs. The kids are away at Bible camp and while I really miss them, I could get used to this empty nest stuff with no schedule!

I have some very exciting news to share with you and I am beyond blessed and thank God so much for this opportunity he's given me. Take Ten Magazine has asked me to be their Guest Artist for Autumn 2010 issue! I just can't believe that! Take Ten Magazine showcases clean and simple cards that are made in 10 minutes or less. And in speaking of clean and simple cards, the card I'm going to share with you today I am using for today's CAS-tastic Challenge 007 where you are to use a button or buttons on your card. This card might not look clean and simple but it's actually card stock with a piece of designer paper layered on and a butterfly embellishment with a sentiment.

I hope that you enjoy this and thank you so much for looking. God bless your day. Today's Treasure: Romans 12:9-21.

All materials used for this card are Stampin' Up!

Good afternoon. I'm sharing a real quick card that I made for me this morning as I have a pool calling my name and then more work to do after that. I'm having oral surgery tomorrow and I'd really appreciate your prayers. I hate dentists and I hate surgery, and this is a double whammy. I am going to be praying this verse big time for the next few days! Thank you for stopping by and God bless!

Hi again. I decided to make another card for the Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple Challenge 68 where the theme was summer and CAS-tastic Challenge 5 where you had to use a touch of green on your project. I'm not too much in a happy summer sunshine mood, so I decided to make something a little more masculine with muted colors that still represents something summery. I'm pretty happy with result. What do you think?

Stamps: Verve Relax, Dude

Designer Paper: Fancy Pants Designs, The Daily Grind by Michelle Coleman
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Up! Old Olive, Pacific Point
