I usually don't do this for design team work, but this week, I'm going to have to. This card is covering today's The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge by Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps AND for Monday's Paper Maniac Inspirations Blog where our weekly theme is what else? Back to School! The Sweet Stop spin is a back to school card too. The Sugar Babies were provided with the usual great sketch and I think I'm pretty happy with the way this card turned out. I was questioning my mojo with last week's disaster sketch card, that's for sure, but I'm hoping that this week makes up for it. There's a lot of layers to this card and I almost got scrappy on you again without any stamps, but I went through my stuff and found this apple that fit perfectly. What do you think? I hope you like this and I'd like to thank you for stopping by my blog today to see my projects for you. God bless and I'll see you next week with another sassy sketch on Saturday and more Paper Inspirations on Monday. Here's your sketch for today.

Good Monday morning! I realize it's the middle of August, but I wanted to make a fall card for today's Paper Maniac, Paper Inspirations Design Team card. Our theme this week is to make a Nestabilities-shaped card, so I thought that this pumpkin would be cute. I used the new Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland paper and was very pleasantly surprised when I stamped my pumpkin image onto the paper and then colored it in using Copic markers layering my three colors. Normally on designer paper, the markers would bleed. To top it off, I used Twinklng H20s which require water, and still no bleeding. So, this is pretty good stuff!

I hope that this card provides you with some inspiration. It was very fun for me to make. I'll see you next week with a new theme and more Paper Maniac Inspiratons! God bless and have a great day. Today's Treasure: Philippians 4:6-7.

Stamps: Stampin' Up! Autumn Harvest

Good morning! I hope that you all had a great weekend. I'd like to introduce to you a new theme we're having this week at the Paper Maniac Inspirations Blog. It's emboss resist. This is a technique that I don't use very often but enjoyed it and how it turned out. Unfortunately, I felt that it was necessary to goop up the rest of the card and cover the majority of it when I'm sure that a cute little piece of chipboard and a sentiment would have done just fine. This really goes against my clean style. I sponged on two different colors over my heat embossing and used different images. The products that I used to make this card can be found in the Paper Maniac Store! We just started Week 8 of our Summer Spectacular Savings that you don't want to miss! I'll see you next week with more fun Paper Maniac Inspirations!
