Good morning! Today is Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 6 and our theme is to make a black and white card with a splash of color. I think I have a few splashes, but that's okay. I am so pleased with the way that this card turned out. I used several different elements for embellishments. The sponsor for our challenge today is Bren Yule, an Executive Director with Close to My Heart, that is a direct sales company that sells scrapbooking and cardmaking products.

My friend Faith, aka Markie's Mom, has started her own stamp company called Mark's Finest Papers. I used the stamp set Ladybugs and Carnation on my card. I've started to build up quite the collection of her stamp line. The stamps are very high in quality and great for coloring, not to mention that she's got me hooked on charms now and sells a wonderful line of them, as well as ink and papers, embellishments, and a whole host of other products. Please go and take a look at her store and you'll be happy that you stopped by.

Now I would like to share my card with you. I used a Get Well sentiment on the inside of the card as this is going to my uncle who just had back surgery about 10 days ago. I think the card is masculine while being bright and cheerful at the same time, and I got to color a lot using my Copic markers. I hope that you like this and that it inspires you in some way! Thank you for playing along with our Tuesday Throwdown Challenge 6 today and we'd love to see you back next week. Until that time, may the Lord richly bless you. Today's Treasure: Luke 21:33.

Now that I'm back from the Land of Oz, I have a tremendous amount of catching up to do before my oral surgery on Thursday, which I'm not looking forward to. I don't like dentists or surgeons and I'm getting both in one day, so I'm totally unnerved and would appreciate any prayers that you could send my way.

I made this card for the Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple Summer Design Team tryouts for challenges 3 and 4. Challenge 3 was to have dimension and challenge 4 is to make something that is movable, which is my chicken, and the chicken is also dimensional as well.

My stamp set is the adorable new Chicken Scratch from Mark's Finest Papers, which is a relatively new stamp company that is growing on me as I already have 4 of their stamp sets.

Thank you so much for looking and may the Lord richly bless your day. Oh Lord, help me increase my faith in you!
