Happy 4th of July again. Now don't get me wrong, I love summer. It's my favorite season of the year. I'm just tired of making summer cards right now, so I made this fall card instead. I was organizing my paper (again) this week, cleaning and sorting my craft room, put a lot up on eBay, and re-familiarized myself with what I do have and came across this great My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary paper and remembered my Stampin' Up Animal Stories stamp set that I had and thought that it would be cute together. Then I went sketch hunting in my usual places, although I'm finding a lot more great sketch blogs, and decided to make this card. I hope that you like it and thank you again for stopping by today. I'm going to go and do some chores, pool fun with the family, a great BBQ dinner, and then the annual fireworks party that one of my neighbors puts on every year. He goes to Missouri to get the illegal ones (at least in Kentucky the type that he sets off), and it's an awesome show! God bless.

It sure is hot and humid here in Kentucky today. Not that I'm complaining, as I have a date with my pool in about an hour. I wanted to make a card using the Taylor Expressions Sketch Challenge 117. Having a good sketch really helps me get started on a card. I use sketches about half of the time when I make a card and the other half, I wing it. It's beautiful outside and I thought that this card would be perfect. It did take a few hours to make because of the detail, but overall, I think it was worth it. I left the inside blank to stamp in a Bible verse. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy this and that it inspires you in some way!

Good afternoon. I decided to make this card just to make it. Taylored Expressions has some great stamp sets that I've been having a lot of fun playing with and I'm still so in love with their organizational system that specifically caters to my neat stamp OCD. They just had a new release on Friday and I got my new stamps in the mail today! They're sitting on my side table and as soon as I get this up, I'm going to open them and put them away in their binders. This was one of those take all day cards because I had to redo the strawberries on the right. They were too big the first time around and I wanted to keep this card A2 size. Let me know what you think? Thank you for stopping by and have a very blessed rest of the day.

Hi! This is my new blog just for fun stuff that I like to create while participating in challenges and for my design team work. This is a design blog for me. Having my personal designs on the Christian Paper Crafts Creative Blog was really outside of the realm that the blog was created for. Here at Stamp With Cindy Coutts, this is my personal blog. One of these days I’m going to have to get domain names switched around to reflect what’s what, but in the meantime, I would like to welcome you to my new blog! I’m still getting some graphic changes made and I’m a little under construction, so please pardon my dust!
Now for my first challenge card to be posted here! I’ve really been getting into Taylored Expressions lately and especially love her packaging. It’s awesome and I wish every stamp company would do this. The stamps come to you pre-cut and already mounted on an EZ mount binder sheet that goes directly into your binder. Even better is that on the front, she has colored images of the stamps! It’s such a perfect, organized system that completely caters to my stamp OCD.
Today’s card is for the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge 113. I’m a firm believer that a great card comes from a great sketch, and this is a wonderful sketch to work with. I had a lot of fun making this card. I love designing cards and I think my real creativity comes flowing out when it’s not a MUST BE DONE card that’s trying to compete with everybody else, but one just to have fun with. I find that my mojo goes places that it’s never gone before! I love how this masculine card turned out. How about you? What do you think? Thank you so much for visiting my very first post and challenge. I hope that you follow my blog and that it provides you with some inspiration. God bless and have a great day!
